Woodhead Consulting working with Welsh Assembly Government helps to do this by providing a Human Resource Development (HRD) advisor under the 'Workforce Development Programme' who will work with your company FREE OF CHARGE to:
- review your strategy
- identify training and development needs
- develop an organisational development plan
- produce an agreed learning plan
- help you to find training organisations and source the right courses
- support your business towards the Investors in People award
- access discretionary funding
Normally £1000, 70% of training costs (there are exceptions)

ReAct & ProAct - Support for training for individuals & businesses
ReAct is a package of support to help people who have been made redundant get back into employment as quickly as possible.
ProAct is a new scheme designed to help companies through the economic downturn by providing financial support to increase the skills levels of the workforce in preparation for economic recovery. ProAct is primarily a training scheme however we are also able to provide further assistance through a wage subsidy that supports those employees undergoing training. ProAct is a selective scheme – not all companies will be successful at application.
