As a franchisee you build a personal relationship with your client, show them how to operate sage properly and support them, periodically you visit the client carry out some 'magic' on sage data and create management accounts, estimate tax liabilities and compare the business with others in the sector. From this you generate a report to advise the business owner of the business performance, comparisons against the sector and make recommendations…and lots more!
Because you work with the client throughout the year the year end work for accounts is minimal and no great surprise for the client. You collect key data and prepare an accounts file.
